Principal Software Engineer - Generative AIWe are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to lead a team of product engineers in the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions at Blue Yonder.The focus of this role is building AI agents that work alongside our customers helping them further optimize their supply chain operations.As a key player in the Blue Yonder AI Innovation Studio, you will work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of Generative AI and machine learning in the supply chain and retail domains.What you will do:Provide technical vision and direction for the engineers in your product teamPartner closely with product managers & designers on roadmap and requirementsLead product engineering around complex, high-impact LLM-powered productsMake critical architectural and design decisionsEvaluate and recommend new technologies and approachesRapid prototyping of AI agents & gen AI experiencesIntegrate AI solutions with our existing product platformIdentify and mitigate technical risksEnsure projects are delivered on time with high qualityStay on top of gen AI developments and experiment with cutting-edge techniquesWhat we are looking for:Self-driven with the desire to take ownership and ability to work across the full stack12-15+ years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in software engineering skills, design patterns, and building scalable systems is REQUIRED.2-3+ years of engineering leadershipExtensive expertise in Python. Optionally TypeScript experience, along with proficiency in front-end technologies like React.Proven track record of shipping products powered by LLMs, RAG systems, and/or AI agents is a plusComfortable working in a startup environment embedded within an enterprise.Passion for pushing the boundaries of AI and a commitment to staying at the cutting edge of industry trends and technologies.This role is based out of our Paris office.
