SCOPE We are hiring a new talent as Senior Global Sourcing Buyer for Beverage carton Categories (Scope Europe including Turkey), responsible for a spend of > €100 million. This is a challenging, highly dynamic and visible role that will see you leading key strategic projects to optimize the quality, service, costs, innovation and cash performance of your categories. You will also be part of the Lactalis sustainable roadmap with highly key topics on paper packaging. Your MISSION & CHALLENGES : As a Senior Global Sourcing Buyer Aseptic Beverage Carton Packaging, you will: Define with all relevant Stakeholders (R&D, Industrial, Quality, Marketing...) the strategy of the category, taking into consideration the internal and external partners (Lactalis countries, Market environment, Suppliers...) Design the roadmap for execution Drive the strategies with your local counterparts (local buyers, R&D, Industrial, Marketing) and monitor their progress Develop Market knowledge and Expertise, Deploy best practises within the group by active benchmark Have an extended knowledge of the upstream markets (liquid board/ Aluminium / LDPE) in order to identify dynamics, risks&opportunities and provide relevant market information internally through Market Reports and ad hoc presentations Define, drive and optimize our global supplier’s portfolio as well as monitoring their performance Negotiate and Implement Key Master Supply Agreements and support local teams to apply them Participate in the budget (Commodities assumptions and saving plans) Maintain an active innovation watch Be part of the Lactalis sustainable roadmap Lead the Aseptic Beverage carton packaging action plan in the new acquisitions in finding quick synergies to help the Lactalis Group growth This position is based in Paris or Laval and requires frequent travels abroad (10 to 30% of the time). WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US ? 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in procurement, direct materials sourcing, and/or packaging engineering Good understanding of packaging or paper materials, ability to understand technical topics Good communicator, team spirit, entrepreneurial, results driven with Excellent interpersonal skills Category strategical vision Strong negotiation and project management skills Able to set priorities, to take some distance, and be pragmatic Languages: Fluent in English.
