La Vie Job Description Buyer's Role Description: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer's Assistant to join our team. This role involves a mix of administrative support, vendor communication, inventory management, research, and project assistance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously on projects while also collaborating effectively within a team. Preferred Experience Key Responsibilities: Order Management: * Processing purchase orders, tracking order status, and ensuring timely delivery. * Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues or delays. Inventory Management: * Monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with other departments to maintain optimal stock levels, and updating inventory records. Vendor Communication: * Liaising with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of goods or services. Administrative Support: * Assisting with administrative tasks such as maintaining vendor files, organizing procurement documents, and recording/coding raw materials internally. * Managing procurement documentation within the Odoo ERP system. Research: * Researching potential suppliers, products, and market trends to support decision-making within the procurement department. Project Assistance: * Supporting procurement projects, including sourcing new suppliers and managing the procurement process for new materials or packaging. * Coordinating sample management for R&D projects and ensuring regulatory documentation compliance. Additional Responsibilities: Updating inventory records and tracking shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Assisting with special procurement projects and initiatives as needed. Maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management, supplier performance, and project timelines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
