Title: Sales Director (West Europe and EU)

It has diversified business interests including financial services, fast-moving consumer goods, education, hospitality, energy, EPC, consumer electronics, realty, biotech and Ayurveda. The group runs 136 companies under 15 different business verticals across all five continents.

Job Description
- Negotiate and finalize new customers and distributors for the export market and countries in Europe.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with supermarket chains and key accounts in the export market.
- Build a distribution network and relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop close working relationships with key strategic distribution partners.
- Deliver sales budget and margin expectations.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to export distributors.
- Prepare customer business summaries regularly and share with respective account handlers to keep them updated on business results and opportunities.
- Plan, negotiate, and finalize annual goals with export markets.
- Identify opportunities for sales increase and utilize new business development opportunities.
- Prepare business plans and targets for the export market.
- Improve margin and profitability by optimizing sales price and sales/marketing overheads.
- Achieve sales targets.
- Develop and negotiate tailor-made in-store promotions and promotional activities in the markets and retailers.
- Engage actively in the management and development of key clients.
- Conduct after-sales activities including follow-up and payments monitoring.
- Review and maintain agreed pricing policies.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate key objectives.
- Regularly report to superiors.

Key Expertise:
The candidate must have experience and expertise in dealing with and finalizing contracts with large multinational supermarket chains in Europe. Adequate knowledge of the trade of supermarket chains (modern trade) in these markets is essential. The candidate must possess the necessary skills and relationships with key stakeholders to finalize contracts with supermarket chains in the shortest possible time frame. Previous experience working with large distributors and importers who distribute FMCG/Food products in modern trade and supermarket chains is required.
Organisation and Team:
Once the market is opened for each of the countries, the candidate should lead a team of salespersons assigned to each market or markets.
