The Opportunity The Pregnancy and Parenting division is seeking an ambitious and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing global team based in the UK. Reporting to the Healthcare Director, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business revenues from a portfolio of healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical clients. Working with the internal team, marketing staff, and other sales team members, the successful candidate will meet and exceed revenue goals to support our Pregnancy & Parenting business as well as the Health Professional Academy, a personalised Health Professional learning platform. The Health Professional Academy's' dynamic, audience first approach, drives site content by occupation to ensure HCPs can easily find the vast range of CPD modules, clinical content and partner content. Key Responsibilities Identifynewbusinessopportunities,includingnewmarkets,newclientsandnew partnerships. Driveincreasedcrossplatformrevenues,includinggrowthofexisting business. Create and facilitate relationships and dialogue with prospective clients within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, both at client direct or their agencies. Identifypotentialclients,andthedecisionmakerswithintheclient organisation. Researchandbuildrelationshipswithnew clients. Setupmeetingsbetweenclientdecisionmakersandcompany’spractice leaders/Principals. Workwithteamtodevelopproposalsthatspeakstotheclient’sneeds,concerns, and objectives. Liaisewithallnecessaryinternalcolleaguestooptimizequalityandcustomer satisfaction. J ob Qualifications Minimumoftwo(2)yearsof healthcare media sales or ClinicalTrials experience . Specific experience in medical education and / or patient recruitment campaigns is preferable. Theabilitytosellideas,productsand services. Aproventrackrecordofcreatingnewbusinessrelationshipswithbothagenciesand clients. Competentknowledgeofthedigitalanddatalandscapeandbusinessis preferred. Abilitytoassessmarkets,customers,competitors,andprospectsbyuncoveringand understanding opportunities, needs, and challenges.
