The Group enjoys a global reach with 63 offices and approximately 4,200 employees worldwide.Five Arrows (5A) is the alternative investments’ arm of the Rothschild & Co group which manages capital in private equity and private debt for the firm and third parties.5A has Assets under Management of c. € 26 billion across a diverse portfolio of funds investing in corporate private equity, secondaries, funds of funds, direct lending transactions and senior secured loans.Our business is founded on three inter-twined principlesPassion for investing,Respect for risk,Culture of partnership,all of which define who we are today.Description of the roleThe Business Analyst will operate within the Financial Planning & Reporting area of the 5A Finance team to support the preparation of the 5A management accounts with a main focus on P&L, cash flows, AuM and Group investment positions in the 5A funds. He/she will also support the divisional planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.The main responsibilities will include:Reviewing and analysing the financial accounts of the 5A entities as well as the management accounts and financial reports;Assisting in the preparation of 5A multi-year plans, budgets and forecasts with a specific focus on ensuring that the data infrastructure to complete these activities is reliable and flexible;Assist in the preparation and maintenance / update of financial models as part of budgeting and forecasting activities;Preparing analysis and presentations for the division’s to Senior Management using;Working closely with the teams supporting the different investment strategies within 5A to ensure a thorough understanding of the portfolio’s performance;Pro-actively anticipating Senior Management’s needs and looking for ways to improve the quality of reports and analysis;Responding to Group and 5A Investor Relations queries;Final year student at an engineering or business school (bac+5), with ideally an initial experience in an audit firm, transaction support or financial services.Open-minded and adaptable, comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can be re-arranged on short notice;Very accurate and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and ability to learn;Articulate oral and written communication skills;Fluent in English with a working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
