In Toulouse, about 50 engineers are working on automotive radar domain for autonomous driving. In the RADAR System and Application group, we are now looking for a junior System & Application engineer to support the development of NXP’s next chip generation.Your responsibilities:Develop Software for Hardware-in-the-Loop measurementsWrite code for automated data capture of radar raw data thru FPGA or NXP MCUsDefine & Develop automated system validation benchesWork on processing algorithms to optimize system performanceSupport customers by reproducing encountered issues and seek for fixes or workaroundsYour profile:Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineeringExperience from 1 to 2 years in relevant industryFamiliar with programming languages (Python, C, C++) and signal processing SW (Matlab, Numpy)Knowledge on FMCW radar signal processing (FFT, MIMO coding, antenna calibration, data visualization)Experience in lab instrument automation would be a benefitFluent in English language both oral and written to work in an international environment with colleagues around the worldExcellent communication skills, both verbal and in writingOpen to new ideas and have a creative attitudeTaking initiative to spot and implement improvementThank you for considering a career at NXP.
