Senior PCB Designer (M/F)

Duties & Responsibilities: As part of its growth, VIAVI Solutions France is currently looking for a Senior PCB Designer. Working in the R&D Department based in Saint Etienne (60 people), you will report to the Head of the Engineering Development Group. You will be responsible for all the steps involved in designing the PCBs at the heart of our fiber optic network test and measurement instruments. Your main tasks will be: In collaboration with the Design Engineers, you will be responsible for proposing technological choices for the PCB (materials, stacking, etc.). You place and route electronic boards. You are the main contact with manufacturers for the technical aspects of board manufacturing. In collaboration with VIAVI Group's administrators, you are responsible for the smooth running of the electronic CAD environment within the design office. You will set up and support various simulations relating to the most complex PCBs (thermal, signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility). Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements: You have significant experience in routing electronic boards. Good synthesis and communication skills, including in English, given the international context of our group (USA, Canada, Romania, Germany). Autonomous and rigorous, you are also able to work as part of a team with other people involved (hardware, mechanics, industrialization). Fluent English and French. Technologies required: You are familiar with at least one electronic CAD program, ideally Cadence. Broad electronics knowledge (power, analog, digital) to ensure efficient board routing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
