Job Description: The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting, reporting and financial operations of the organization. This role also plays a strong supporting role with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices, as well as experience in an accounting leadership role within a multinational organization. Responsibilities: Lead the daily operations of the accounting and financial operations functions, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Coordinate activities around audit, tax, treasury and cash management. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. Assess and enhance financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Identify opportunities to improve automation and utilization of our ERP and other technology tools. Manage ERP accounting structure (e.g. chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers). Monitor intercompany transactions with peer entities and private equity affiliates. Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Ensure timely submission of tax returns and other statutory reporting requirements. Support the annual budgeting process and ensure that budgets are aligned with the organization's strategic goals. Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals to ensure high-quality performance and engagement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred. 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong technical skills in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. Expert working within ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics365 preferred). Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP/IFRS and SOX. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. French and English required with German also preferred. Experience working within a private equity-backed company a plus. International and multi-location accounting experience a plus.
