We are searching for an enthusiastic Technical/Product Writer intern to join our growing team. This position would be suitable for anyone who wants to pursue a career in any area of tech or finance. Your day-to-day duties will be working with the Product Documentation Manager and various departments within the company. As a product and technical writer, you will be at the forefront of an innovative product. You will learn the following skills:Planning and documentation managementWriting styles and industry standardsWriting about new technologies and APIsWriting about complex topics in a simple and effective wayWorking directly and indirectly with Design, UX, Tech, Support, and Implementation Managers. In this role, you will be responsible for :Research market competitorsPrioritize developments by assessing their impacts and efforts required.Work closely with the documentation manager and the engineering teamWork with Marketing and Support teams to make sure that clients understand our product and new features Job requirements SkillsGood communication skillsGood spoken and written English required (Bilingual in English and French is beneficial, but not essential)Knowledge of finance or the banking industry would be an advantageBasic knowledge of HTML and MarkdownKnowledge of MS Visual Studio would be an advantageA highly motivated individual with great communication and interpersonal skillsA willingness to think outside the boxA technical background would be a plusYou enjoy evolving in a multicultural environment BackgroundAn ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization some knowledge of HTML and MarkdownBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experienceExperience with APIsKnowledge of the payment / banking / finance industry would be a bonusA real team player with a deep sense of collaboration but also are comfortable working autonomouslyWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU ?
