Through its Open Innovation & Fintech cluster, AXIAN explores new pathways to transform society and always break new ground in line with its Group mandate : how to accelerate digital, financial and energy inclusion for all in Africa's context?AXIAN Open Innovation & Fintech is looking for its Compliance Manager M/F Reporting directly to the Head of Risks and Compliance, your challenges are:Ensure understanding, communication and validation of compliance framework documentation across Opcos Compliance policies & procedures drafting, review and refining for Senior Management and Board validationDrive effective compliance framework implementation across OpCos Support local RCCP teams to identify, assess, mitigate and report regulatory compliance and AML CFT risksOversee AML CFT controls and reporting on risk and suspicious transactionsEnsure local RCCP advises management on compliance requirements, remedies and related controlsVerify that local training programs are respected and staff are accompanied Review new product regulatory compliance and AML CFT opinion made by local RCCPEnsure recommendation follow-up, regulator or law enforcement enquiries are actioned uponEnsure reliable internal reporting across OpcosCreate or review the quality of the Key Risk indicators (KRI) and Key Control indicators (KCI) related to ComplianceDeliver data driven reports (to the regulatory and ARC)Support the local RCCP teams Facilitate liaison between local RCCP and stakeholders and regulators to meet min 3 times a yearElaborate minimum 8 trainings / yearFind ways to efficiently automate compliance managementCoach & advise: industry knowledge, best practices, market trends & watchIncrease compliance risk culture across the ClusterThe “Must-haves” we look for in an incumbentUniversity degree in compliance, audit, control, business management 3 to 5 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk or control management in the financial sector Fluent in French & EnglishControlmethodologyLegal and regulatory environment and textsRigorous, organised, adaptable, analytical skills, writing and communication skills, open-minded, pragmatic and solution driven, sound judgement
