Act as a proposal manager, coordinating disciplines and ensuring high-quality documents to win projects.Support business development activities through client meetings, attending conferences, industry events, and workgroup meetings.Mentor and assist development of junior members of Genesis Paris. Genesis is delivering high-value technical consultancy and advisory on a variety of topics contributing to define tomorrow’s energy landscape: decarbonization of industry, CO2 value chain, hydrogen production, and Power to X technologies.As a study manager, you will actively contribute to the growth of the Genesis Paris office, being responsible for the execution of early phase projects (from Conceptual to Pre-FEED) for a variety of different clients, developers, and operators of breakthrough energy projects. You will work in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment, in close collaboration with the different Genesis offices in the world and the wider Technip Energies Group.Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):Prepare proposals outlining methodology, schedule, resourcing requirements, and costs.Ensure study scope is executed in line with Genesis expectations for delivery, quality, and innovation.Perform multi-discipline field techno-economic development studies to provide technically robust optimization of the Client's commercial drivers.Provide technical guidance and expertise, both internally and during interactions with clients.Ensure the Client is always informed of study technical, commercial, and schedule progress, and that deviations from plan are identified and discussed with the client in a timely manner.Proactively communicate with all stakeholders (both internal and external) by implementing a “no surprises” policy.Actively identify future work opportunities through business development and networking.Develop client relationships based on mutual trust and respect.Typical background, qualifications, and experience required:Relevant engineering degree qualification. Considered relevant background: process engineering, project engineering, renewable asset development, or other technical energy roles.Minimum 8-10 years of experience; the majority of which should be in the upstream oil and gas industry.Highly competent in the disciplines of field development/process engineering with an appreciation of broader disciplines (construction, project).Experience in feasibility and conceptual design stages of a project.Strong report writing and presentation skills.Fluent in English (written & oral) with French language skills preferred.Proactive communicator with strong personal awareness.Client-focused with experience in facilitating client meetings and managing client relationships.Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial relationships in the context of project delivery.Understanding of Energy Transition markets and drivers (technical aspects, economics, regulatory, etc.).Management of client and team members.Engineering development and technical assurance.Monitoring of study progress/manhours.Preparation of reports.Preparation of proposals and business development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
