YOUR ROLEThe mission of the Studies Project Engineer is to carry out logistics and transport studies, to work on the creation or optimization of business solutions:Carry out logistics and transport studies for known or new clientsDesign and optimize customers' Supply Chain logistics solutions and participate in the implementation of actions as supportConduct studies of logistics solutions for our 3PL clients at the request of Commerce (BD and GKAM)Prepare responses in agreement with Commerce/Business Development (BD) to the various tenders receivedOptimize transport plans and identify possible synergies between our customersWHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?ACTIVITIESGather and analyze customer requirementsCollect the information necessary to carry out the studies (purchase, resources, standards, deadlines, quality, etc.)Carry out feasibility studiesDevelop innovative and optimized solutionsSuggest flow optimizations to help improve performanceGathers and analyzes offers from transport suppliers or service providersChallenge offers/solutions received from internal suppliers (Group subsidiaries, business experts) or external suppliers in relation to the buyerDraw flowchartsEstablish a pricing proposal for services (transport, centers, administrative & documentary services)Write reports and summary documentsPresent the results of the studySupport operational teams in project implementationDesign and implement monitoring indicatorsFollow processes and report on its activityTRANSVERSAL COORDINATIONCoordinates and controls the studies of internal entitiesGains the trust of internal contacts affected by the project(s)Mobilizes the impact of internal parties per project(s) around the achievement of common objectivesMobilizes internal parties to meet customer needsFEASIBILITY ANALYZESEstimate expected costsPerform simulationsCalculate margin using dataEvaluate and choose the most appropriate response to customer requirements taking into account all constraintsEvaluate the feasibility of the project from geographical, industrial and legal points of viewEvaluate the opportunity, feasibility and future exploitability of a program or projectIdentify and evaluate the challenges of an action or project in terms of potential gains (profitability, productivity, savings, etc.) and added valuePresent and clarify a feasibility studySTUDY PROCEDURESApply the performance methodology of study auditsUnderstand and delimit the scope of a studyDefine the study methodology based on the expected resultsPresent and clarify the conclusions of a studyTransform the results of the study into an action planPrepare and present offers to be submitted to BD/GKAM as part of customer calls for tendersCOLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF CUSTOMER NEEDSUnderstand and analyze the needs and particular characteristics of the clientSummarize the main elements of the tenders received to its managementQuestion customers so that their answers are clearSurvey of customer situation and its requirementsTIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONSSupport and explain the choice of solution or resolution of a problemGive advice to facilitate or help guide decision-makingIdentify the advantages and limitations of the various optionsRecommend solutions adapted to a customer requirementPLANNINGDefine and consolidate a study schedule and response to calls for tendersIdentify and plan deadlines while respecting customer deadlinesEstablish resources to monitor compliance with the scheduleDefine priorities and review current studies based on projects receivedEstablish with the help of the Tender center / Commerce / Business Development a calendar of calls for tenders and share it with project stakeholders/calls for tendersDetect production delays compared to scheduleEstimate the time required for the studyIdentify and plan the different phases of a study/ projectPrioritize the stages of a study taking into account internal and external constraints (issues, importance, urgency, etc.) to plan the treatmentOvercome possible hazards/delays by implementing corrective actionsRETEXUpdate personal knowledge in his field of activityDetect events or changes in the environment that may affect its area of activityCarry out prospective studies in relation to its field of activity (strategic monitoring)MARKET INTELLIGENCEParticipate in the detailed inventory of all flows operated by our subsidiaries / the market by customerUpdate this database each time the flow changesMonitor the automobile transport marketWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Higher studies (preferably Technical or Logistics)Level of studies: Bac+5Fluency in English and FrenchA 3rd language is a PlusWindows, MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)MS Project, AccessOutlookInternetProgramming (VBA), SQL query language;At least 3 years of professional experience in LogisticsProject and risk managementBudget managementBe customer and results orientedEffective communicationSense of analysis and synthesisLogistics and transport regulationsContinuous improvementMastery of IT tools within its scopeKnowledge of the specifications of transport and logistics equipment, means and resourcesKnowledge of upstream and downstream logistics in relation to the positionNorms and standards relating to the activityValue analysisKnowledge of existing customers, their
