We are representing a leading Cyber Security Software Vendor in search of a Sales Engineer to join their high-performing team. The Sales Engineer will work closely with the Sales Representative and Partners to support both new and pre-existing sales opportunities. This role is pivotal in demonstrating the technical value of the company’s products and helping customers integrate solutions into their environments.
As part of this dynamic team, you will play a key role in building business justifications for clients, ensuring the annual sales quota is met or exceeded. If you’re passionate about tech sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer requirements and effectively integrate the company's solutions into their environment.
- Deliver engaging sales presentations, present technical information, and conduct product demonstrations.
- Manage product evaluations, including installations, seminars, and responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Provide technical support to Partners and develop technical relationships with key stakeholders.
- Articulate the importance of Data Governance and position the company as the market leader in this space.
- Travel as required, depending on the territory, to engage with clients and partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, plus 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory and related directory services.
- Proficiency in Windows and Unix file systems.
- Familiarity with security hardware and software solutions.
- Exposure to Microsoft Exchange, ideally in a systems administration role.
- MCSE, MCP Microsoft Certifications are preferred.
