We are multilingual at our core. More recently, we released le Chat , as a demonstrator of our models. The Role You would be our first Data hire for the Mistral AI team. The role is focused on accelerating the pace of research at Mistral AI. You would be responsible for managing our Data Annotation & Collection process from brainstorming to application.  This role is a critical feature between our research roadmap, Annotators, and the engineering team to build an annotation platform for all data efforts. As a Data Manager at Mistral AI, you will play a crucial role in creating our advanced AI systems by leveraging intuitive and human-centric products. Together, we strive to make a meaningful impact and push the boundaries of what is possible with AI. What you will do Collaborate with adjacent researchers to define project requirements, including timeline, budget, and success metrics. Oversee data collection campaigns by - Liaising with researchers to understand project needs - Designing campaign onboarding processes and maintaining relevant documentation - R eporting on quality, throughput, spend, and insightful trends to cross-functional teams - Enable Science and Product teams to seamlessly leverage data by building frameworks, tools, and processes to analyze data using SQL, Python, or other technical means Ensure data collection campaign quality and success while scaling impact through collaboration with vendors and internal Operations Specialists. Contribute to team systems by - Managing a team of data annotators - I mplementing and managing a quality control system - Designing overall training and onboarding strategies and materials for vendors - Developing dashboards, command centers, and queries to monitor progress in quality, throughput, and spend - Collaborating with engineers to track and implement feature requests and troubleshoot issues - Utilize Mistral AI’s product and research capabilities to enhance data collection efficiency and maintain a competitive edge.
