You will develop both technical skills and business / soft skills.Top-notch team & tools:Our team encompasses experienced and proven expertsWe already have a central data platform in Azure connected to markets through snowflake.Our core data science team is already in place and uses cutting-edge data science tools to answer business questions (machine learning, deep learning, statistical learning, optimization)Our primary language is python, but we are open to test and incorporate any language that fits our needs (be ready to learn!)Variety of projects and day-to-day work:We are present in 160+ markets with 400+ brands globally, we can propose an endless variety of projects.Our commitment for a multi-year transformation journey will allow you to participate in projects with different maturities: from proof of concept to production.Your day-to-day work will be varied as our team will focus on 3 priorities: push forward boundaries (imagine creative solutions to hack Pernod-Ricard), delivering qualitative tech assets for the company and facilitate adoption of the solution across the company.The main responsibilities are:Based in Pernod Ricard Headquarters (Paris), you will integrate a brand-new team including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Stewards, Machine Learning Engineers, Engagement Lead, etc. working closely with deployment leads and field experts. Under the supervision of the Global Head of Data & Analytics, you will be in charge of developing and implementing data analyses to support digital use cases of our key digital priorities:Understand business issues and translate these into technical needsCreating simple and maintainable dashboards, reports or presentations to communicate the findings to business usersPartner with our data science teams to make sure our work is consistent according to business needsMonitor usage & results of our algorithmsPartner with the team to develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityFilter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problemsWork with deployment team to prioritize business and information needsLocate and define new process improvement opportunitiesActively contribute to Data culture communityThe profile required is:Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics2+ years of experience in data or business analystExperience in an FMCG company is a strong plusAbility to understand business needsPragmatic and capable of solving complex issuesGood communicationPush innovative solutionsService-oriented, flexible & team playerSelf-motivated, take initiativeAttention to detail & technical intuitionExperience in data analysisStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to presentation, detail and accuracyFamiliarity with data science methods and scaling data science methodsProven experience on building reporting databaseStrong capacity to develop consistent & clear analysisFamiliarity with a broad base of analytics toolsGood knowledge of cloud computing.
