Embedded Software Buyer

As Embedded Software Buyer you are responsible for managing the global supplier portfolio for embedded software in innovation and development, application and serial business. You will explore and assess new partner opportunities and manage supplier/partner involvement in development of new software solutions for Autoliv safety products and digital solutions. In your responsibility you will also lead the activities to develop embedded software sourcing strategies and processes, and to strengthen the business model for embedded software supply including financing and contract management. Your main responsibilities as Global Buyer for Embedded Software: - Global responsibility for Embedded software purchasing during the complete product lifecycle. Examples like Autosar, BSW stack, OS, CAN stack, LIN stack, FBL, HSM firmware, SoSec drivers, MCAL, MCU CoreSelfTest.- Scout suppliers and partners for collaborations on new technologies and innovations, assess new business opportunities. RDE Business partners for embedded software development. - On-boarding and qualification of new partners, together with the supplier quality teams. - Sourcing responsibilities in advanced studies, development projects and application projects for embedded software solutions, including partner assessment, early cost estimates and RFQs, feasibility and contract management. Management of FuSa (ISO 26262:2018) and Cybersecurity (ISO 21434:2021) implications. - Lead the segment strategic activities for the embedded software area.- Lead-buyer for embedded software suppliers and related global spend. Relationship management and performance management for suppliers/partners. Support project teams and internal stakeholders. - Lead the development to establish supply chain strategies, processes, business set up for the embedded software area incl financing models and contract models etc.- Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Autoliv Product line teams, Research, Development, Engineering teams and Supply chain teams. - Support other purchasing related activities for Electronics as required.In your assignment as Embedded Software Buyer you report to the Global Innovation Purchasing Manager for Electronics.Travels will be required on demand. #J-18808-Ljbffr
