Job Description

Accor & Orient Express are currently seeking an experienced Talent & Culture (T&C) Executive Director to lead and champion the Orient Express teams in Corporate Offices. Reporting directly to the CEO Orient Express, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing all aspects of Human Resources within the brand.

Main missions

  • T&C STRATEGY
  • Develop and implement Talent & Culture policies and procedures aligned with Accor’s Global T&C strategy and overarching objectives.
  • Develop and manage core HR functions to provide comprehensive support to Orient Express’ employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide counsel, guidance, and day-to-day support to managers on coaching, career development, performance management, and disciplinary and grievance actions.
  • Maintain and update HR data and documentation.
  • SOCIAL RELATIONS
  • Contribute to the establishment of Orient Express’ legal entity, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development of social relations strategies and agreements within Orient Express, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all social relations practices adhere to relevant local laws and regulations.
  • Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, promoting a harmonious social climate and enhancing social dialogue.
  • Develop and implement a Work Council within Orient Express, engaging with social partners and participating to the different instances.
  • Coordinate and manage annual deadlines with staff representative bodies, ensuring timely communication and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Lead HR projects related to social law, driving initiatives to enhance employee welfare and compliance standards.
  • TALENT EXPERIENCE
  • Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, talent management, retention, and development, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
  • OTHER MISSIONS
  • Represent Orient Express in external forums and industry events to promote the brand's employer brand.

Reporting to CEO Orient Express

Qualifications

  • Ability to build and implement strategies as well as to manage projects in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs.
  • Strong understanding of social relations practices and regulations, with experience in negotiating and managing labor agreements.
  • Human oriented.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Proactive and decisive.
  • Strong ability to work independently.
  • Effective leader with ability to inspire and communicate at all levels.
  • Experience leading on a variety of legal matters around human resources and social relations topics, ideally with experience in handling social relations and legal agreements.
  • Confident and calm under pressure, adaptive, with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Fluent in English and French.

Experience

  • Human Resources degree / Legal qualifications and previous experience
  • HR/Social Relations roles.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a growing environment.
  • Strong experience working in international environments, preferably in the hospitality industry/luxury industry.
  • Strong understanding of social relations.
