Reporting To: Deputy Head of IBC & Broadcast StructuresDepartment / Division: IBC & Broadcast StructuresType of Contract: Permanent (CDI)Start Date:ASAPPurpose of the JobWe are seeking a Senior Architect to lead the Design and Users Relations team for the design and implementation of advanced broadcast-related infrastructure. This position leverages experience with facility design, which is used for accommodating broadcast operations at international sports events, in-depth knowledge of CAD and BIM software, and familiarity with AI tools to drive innovation and efficiency. The Senior Architect will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of new technologies, fostering a collaborative team environment, and maintaining strong relationships with the end users of the various facilities to meet their needs and enhance overall satisfaction.Main DutiesDesign related activitiesLead and mentor a team of architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Liaise with users to identify requirements guiding the design and planning of scalable and robust broadcast architectures.Capture relevant requirements by maintaining supportive technical notes.Utilise CAD and BIM software to develop architectural plans and models.Develop commercial propositions for external Clients by applying consistent rate card models.Explore and implement AI tools to enhance workflows and work efficiency.Develop workplace designs while ensuring compliance to standard working regulations.Ensure workplace designs deliver excellent working and performance standards.Resolve technical design-related details with innovative and practical solutions.Adapt existing designs to integrate modifications inherent to the evolving needs of the project and its usersPrepare visual material to help engage project stakeholdersSupport in all design-related aspects of the projects, such as decoration and signage conceptConduct site inspections for quality and design controlEnsure delivery accuracy through tight coordination of Design and Users Relation team with the teams overseas responsible for project implementation.Conduct on-site progress monitoring to guarantee successful integration of user requirements.Corporate activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align architectural solutions with business objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with Clients, ensuring their needs and feedback are incorporated into effective design solutions.Actively seek opportunities to improve services offered by the companyProjectsThe initial project portfolio comprises the following projectsFIFA World Cup 2026 – Canada, Mexico and USAFIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 – BrazilUEFA EURO 2028 – UK and IrelandProven experience as a Senior Architect or in a similar role, ideally related to broadcast operations at international sports events.Extensive knowledge of CAD and BIM software.Familiarity with AI tools and their applications in architectural design.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong user relationships.A passion for exploring innovative solutions and technologies.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Creativity, accuracy and diligenceAutonomous & proactiveSkillsLoves working with people from different nationalities, languages and cultural backgroundsAutoCAD and Office applications, as well as knowledge of RevitEnglish proficiency – verbal and writing – other languages are a plusEducation & ExperienceDegree in Architecture, Interior Design, or similarFive to ten years of experience in workplace design, detailing of interior fittings and/or architectural designDemonstrated ability to lead multicultural teamsKey InteractionsInternal : BSOS Division and Broadcast Engineering departmentExternal : Clients and vendorsHow to ApplyPlease apply to find out more.
