Software Engineer - Intern

We’re looking for interns to join us to help collect, aggregate, visualize, and analyze high-scale metrics, logs, and application data. Software engineering at Datadog includes a variety of exciting opportunities across backend, frontend, infrastructure, libraries, data engineering, and data science. Our hybrid workplace ensures our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.Responsibilities:Solve scaling bottlenecks in critical services to grow Datadog for its expanding customer baseDeploy new features to production and contribute to projects that have a tangible impact on customers across Datadog’s user baseDevelop your tech stack through technologies such as Kubernetes, Bazel, and many more while receiving mentorship from the best engineers in the industryGrow alongside a diverse cohort of talented interns while working in a fun and collaborative environmentWho You Are:You will graduate in 2025 with a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related subjectYou have strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, software design, to name a few)You are comfortable coding in one or more programming languagesYou value code simplicity and performanceYou want to work in a fast-paced environment that values its employees and customersYou are a self-starter who enjoys partnering with other engineers and solving difficult problemsYou are available to complete a 6-month internship starting in February, March, April, May, or June 2025 (we are unable to accommodate internships starting at any other time)Datadog values people from all walks of life.
