Machine Learning Engineer, Data & Analytics

Automated Insights helps teams around Datadog derive high-quality insights from data and take action upon it, through automation, data science, and machine learning. We tackle projects for the company such as determining a customer’s propensity to convert and try our products, qualifying leads for sales teams to maximize their impact, and building smart assistants for technical support agents.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll work with full-stack Data Scientists with knowledge of data engineering, data science, and machine learning, to build out high-scale data pipelines and production-ready data science products.

What You’ll Do:

1. Work with a team of full-stack Data Scientists to design, build and maintain data pipelines and ML products, for a wide range of business use cases.
2. Lead by example to foster software development best practices, including testing, observability, collaboration, code refactoring, and automation.
3. Collaborate with the data infrastructure teams to explore new possibilities, bring them requests and constructive feedback.
4. Take an active role in understanding the business needs. Dig in the data and contribute to building and maintaining our ML models and data science products.

• Ability to influence and mentor peers.
• Experience in Data Engineering and/or Machine Learning Engineering.
• Bonus: experience as a data scientist.
