Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTINGJob Description & QualificationABOUT THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENTThe department of “Accounting” consists of 25+ members in the areas of Financial Accounting, Taxation and Management Control. Faculty members specializing in Management Accounting and Control have been successful in publishing their research papers in top-tier refereed international journals in areas such as management accounting and control systems, sustainability control packages, and governance and financial reporting ethics.The school provides ample resources to support research and promotes cross-disciplinary research that is essential for the modern business world. The school supports an innovative research agenda that is relevant for both theoretical substance and practical business insights. IÉSEG has built an excellent network with overseas institutions for collaborative work and exchanges.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe position includes both a research and teaching mission, with the balance adjusted to the selected candidate’s profile. Research will be a strong focus, and the selected candidate is expected to hold a PhD, have a strong publication record (or potential for Assistant Professors) in top-tier refereed journals listed in AJG, and possess a good international network.In teaching, the selected candidate will teach courses in Management Accounting and Control at the undergraduate, graduate, and/or postgraduate level and contribute to the development of the Department’s programs. Candidates should have strong pedagogical skills and be fluent in English, as most courses are taught in this language.
