Financial Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our Amazon Logistics Operations Finance team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing finance-related activities, implementing standardized controllership, reporting, and planning processes for our Delivery Stations across the EU.

As a Financial Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of data sources, identify incomplete or inaccurate data, and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes. You will also be responsible for delivering weekly/monthly financial close, using financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify basic control risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps
• Deliver weekly/monthly financial close, using financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets
• Work with a variety of data sources, identify incomplete or inaccurate data, and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes
• Use active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner
• Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes
• Make thoughtful time management decisions independently, prioritize work, resolve issues, meet deadlines, and seek feedback from your manager
