Under the responsibility of the Chief Innovation & Architecture Officer, you play a central role in the innovation and technological development of the company and contribute to the realization of innovations aligned with BeeBryte’s strategic objectives.You will be responsible for co-creating and driving the innovation process, its formalization, and its implementation into concrete action. You will supervise and participate in Research & Development projects, ensure technological monitoring, and actively contribute to the advancement of research projects by following associated performance indicators.Activities & Missions:Co-creation and Driving of Innovation:Formalization of the Innovation Strategy: Participate in defining and implementing the innovation strategy, in alignment with the company’s objectives and in agreement with BeeBryte’s innovation committee.Co-construction of the Innovation Process: Work in collaboration with teams to formalize the innovation processes, from design to implementation, by mobilizing internal and external skills.Driving the Innovation Approach: Organize brainstorming sessions, collaborative workshops, and events to stimulate creativity and innovation within the team. Follow projects and seek resources to address identified issues.Supervision of Research & Development:Supervision of R&D Projects: Lead research and development projects and coordinate contributions from different services, ensuring the quality of work and adherence to deadlines.Definition of Scientific Directions: Contribute to defining scientific directions based on the company’s needs, technological advancements, and market opportunities.Resource Management: Optimize the use of available resources to maximize the efficiency of R&D projects.Manage R&D projects, from ideation to the “production” implementation of the approach.Technological Monitoring and Expertise:Perform constant surveillance on technological advances, with a particular focus on machine learning applied to time series and fields related to the company’s activity.Participation in Events and Conferences: Represent BeeBryte at scientific and technological events, sharing knowledge and establishing collaborations.Skills:Innovation Approach: Deep understanding of innovation methodologies (from ideation to production) and research project management.Project Management: Ability to effectively manage projects, respecting deadlines, budgets, and set objectives.Machine Learning: Knowledge and skills in machine learning, particularly in processing time series.Data Science: Mastery of data science techniques for data analysis and insight generation.Best Documentation Practices: Ability to effectively document research work and processes.Proficiency in English: Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.Personal Qualities:Autonomy: Ability to work independently, taking relevant initiatives.Communication: Excellent communication skills, essential for sharing knowledge and ideas.Curiosity and Inquiry: Constantly seeking new knowledge and approaches.Committee Facilitation: Ability to animate, unite, and lead meetings and working groups.Education:PhD in science with solid foundations in physics, ideally on smart-building, smart-grid, or thermal topics, and a keen interest and experience in Artificial Intelligence / data science.Employment Contract:Contract type: Permanent Contract (CDI)Start month: As soon as possibleWork location: LyonStatus: ExecutiveTravel: No travel requiredAnnual gross salary (range): According to ProfileFull-timeConditions: Occasional telework allowed, meal vouchers, sustainable mobility package or 50% coverage of the monthly pass.Recruitment Process:CV + cover letter + availability date to be sent to: [email protected] without a cover letter will not be considered (motivation to join BeeBryte + why we should hire you).Only selected candidates will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
