With a team of 20 eminent scientists, engineers, and biologists from elite pharma and academic circles, we're on a pioneering journey.Your Mission:As a Senior Organoid Scientist at Okomera, you will play a crucial role in advancing our cancer diagnostic technologies. You will lead the development and optimization of organoid models derived from patient samples based assays, contributing to groundbreaking cancer drug discovery and personalized medicine solutions.Key Responsibilities:Organoid Development: Lead the creation and optimization of organoid models from patient-derived samples.Organoid based Assay Development : Lead the creation and optimization of organoid derived assaysResearch Leadership: Design and execute experiments to explore cancer biology, drug responses, and tumor microenvironment interactions.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including biologists, chemists, and engineers, to integrate organoid models into our diagnostic platform.Data Analysis: Analyze experimental data, maintain detailed records, and present findings to the team and stakeholders.Innovation: Stay updated on the latest advancements in organoid research and apply innovative techniques to improve our models.Required Qualifications:Education: PhD in Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of industry experience in organoid research, with a focus on cancer models.Expertise: Strong background in 3D cell culture, organoid development, and tissue engineering. Experience in immunology and/or immuno-oncology. Experience in T cell activation, co-stimulation and overall T cell biology is highly desirable.·Expertise and proficiency with standard molecular biology assays (ddPCR, qPCR, RT-PCR).·Skills: Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, imaging, and data analysis.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.·Proven record of scientific publications is a plus·Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
