Financial Manager - Logistics Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our Amazon Logistics Operations Finance team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing finance-related activities, implementing standardized controllership, reporting, and planning processes for the fixed cost of Delivery Stations across all EU countries.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will be a creative and analytical problem solver. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of data sources, identify incomplete or inaccurate data, and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly/monthly financial close, using financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets.
• Identify basic control risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps.
• Work with a variety of data sources, identify incomplete or inaccurate data, and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.
• Communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly.
• Make thoughtful time management decisions independently, prioritizing work, resolving issues, meeting deadlines, and seeking feedback from your manager.
