The role Fugro has an exciting new opportunity for a Staff Engineering Geologist to join our dynamic Marine Geoconsulting team. You will be tasked with geological, geophysical and geohazard appraisals for projects worldwide, reviewing and interpreting data and preparing geological reports. Based out of one of our Wallingford, UK, Nootdorp, NL, or Nanterre, France offices, you will also have the opportunity for occasional travel for offsite or offshore project work. You will be tasked with the interpretation and integration of geological, geophysical and geotechnical data, supporting senior Engineering Geologists and assisting them with their project duties. Logging of sediment cores for geotechnical, geological and geohazard purposes and assisting in the production of geohazard site appraisals and integrated reports. Adhering to company QHSE policies and standards. Who we’re looking for: A degree or Masters in Geology, Earth Science or Geoscience. A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role. An analytical mindset. Excellent verbal and written English language skills. An ability to work collaboratively in a team. Confidence working under pressure to tight deadlines.
