It aligns with core business objectives in Endoscopy to contribute to the overall growth of the Endoscopy division. The position includes accountability of the control and management of the Endobariatrics sales P&L and of the Endobariatrics Strategy.As a leader of a center-led organization, strong collaboration and influencing with the different stakeholders, including the global Endobariatrics team and Endoscopy local leadership within the organization, will be key to the success of this role.The EMEA Endobariatrics Marketing team, including Market Development & Field Education, will report to this position.The position reports to VP and General Manager Endoscopy EMEA and is part of the New Endoscopy leadership team.Key Responsibilities:Lead Commercial Execution of Endobariatrics across EMEAAchieve short-term and mid-term business objectives by collaborating with EMEA sales and marketing leadership, the strategy and commercial excellence team, and cross-functional team members.Use personal customer insight and field sales feedback to help identify and build effective commercial strategies and tactics to win against competitors and new entrants into the market.Support solutions for customers beyond the product to lead to multiyear commitments.Identify strategic opportunities and anticipate potential threats to the business.Develop and execute plans, allocate resources effectively, set standards, and monitor sales and marketing efforts to meet overall revenue and profit targets.Marketing:Design and enforce Direct to Patient (DTP) and Direct To Refer (DTR) strategic maps and associated tactics.Ensure strong collaboration with Omnichannel to spread messages faster and target more people as well as have the appropriate post-event follow-up with participating physicians.Market Development:Work closely with country Sales and Marketing Management teams to devise tactics and strategies that enhance productivity and profitability in high-potential regions, using personal customer insight and field sales feedback.Lead the EMEA Endobariatrics marketing team on the strategic direction of the business, driving strategy and ensuring execution of the marketing messages and tools.Collaborate with EMEA and country leadership to develop a fully detailed country business strategy to expand Endobariatrics business through clinical sales execution.Work closely and foster ongoing communication with the Global Endobariatrics organization to ensure alignment, represent EMEA market dynamics, influence global decisions, and leverage global resources and strategies.Partner with medical affairs to optimize reimbursement strategy and market access.Shape the clinical strategy of the division, examining relevant topics and identifying KOLs and centers for advisory roles and studies.Product and Training Development:Provide the material necessary for the right product positioning and the right content to be set. Ensure effective certification and appropriate training processes rolled out by the Learning & Development team to ensure the appropriate Endobariatrics products and procedural knowledge.Advance and expand the existing internal sales training program to drive clinical selling in the field, aiming to increase share in existing accounts and open new accounts.Lead new product introduction: prepare local markets for new Endobariatrics product launches and any accessory products.Maintain productivity by working closely with country BUMs, Cluster Development Manager, and marketing, supporting growth productively.Lead Customer Educational Programs:Support the development or improvement of our educational and training program for physicians and hospital staff specific to the Endobariatrics products to engage all customer segments and high-tier KOLs.Work strategically with Learning & Development team, marketing, medical affairs, and global team to evolve proctoring and training centers and align structure with business needs.Develop a strong KOL network with action plans in place for selected KOLs and key influencers.People Development:Lead and cultivate a high-performing EHQ marketing team with a focus on increasing market penetration and developing referral networks.Key Requirements:Educational Background: MSc/MBA in business, marketing, or a relevant medical field is preferred.Sales & Marketing Experience: Over ten years of experience in sales and marketing within the medical devices industry.
