Senior General Accountant

You will work closely with the external accounting firms in these countries to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial reporting requirements.What you will doAccounting operations for the french entity Complete management of the accounting function for the French entity, including preparation of financial statements, management of tax and social security filings, and oversight of cash flow.Month-end reporting :Manage monthly close and liaise with business to obtain informationBook month-end entriesAnalyse accountsTaxesCalculate all local taxes and declare monthly and annual tax returns : corporate income tax, VAT, and other local taxes that are duePay all taxes in a timely mannerCash flow management :Send all documents for auditAnswers all auditors’ questionsActive participation in the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, in collaboration with relevant teams, to optimize accounting and financial processes on an international scale.Contribution to financial analysis and report preparation for management, providing strategic insights to support decision-makingSupervision and coordination of accounting activities for the entities in Estonia, Germany, and the United Kingdom, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirementsQualifications: This job is perfect for you if you have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field: A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential to ensure a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.At least 5 years of experience in an accounting firmA strong knowledge of French GAAP and French tax rules (IFRS and US GAAP a plus)Proficient English skillsProficient skills in MS Excel and ideally ERP systems Experience working in an international environment, in a group with many foreign subsidiariesOrganized, self-motivated, rigorous, and accountable for the classification of all financial documents.Very good communication skillsProblem-solving mindsetAbility to work in a fast-paced work environment and to deal with constant changesBeyond the jobWe're a global organization driven by diverse backgrounds, fostering innovation through an open exchange of ideas.
