Technical Assistance For R&D Projects In The Field Of Liquefied Natural Gas

Context : The Low Emission Gas R& D Program brings together around fifteen researchers. The ambition of this program is to develop technological solutions to reduce the environmental footprint of gas chains and to strengthen their competitiveness and sustainability. In this context, technical and economic analyses are useful for assessing technologies and are subsequently used to characterize them using Key Performance Indexes (KPIs). Technical analyses and understanding of the specificity of a technology allow them to be compared with each other, in particular by parameters of energy efficiency, GHG balance, value of co-products and associated costs. In the context of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), we look at all the processes involved in the value chain including liquefaction, shipping and regasification.Objectives and deliverables Missions : Technical assistance to the R& D project manager for the evaluation of innovative techniques in the LNG field. Data and process analysis, comparison of technologies and integrated chains. Deliverables: Summary documents of data analyses and technical-economic studies. Comparison of value chains including a new technology against a reference. Report writing and presentations.N
