We are seeking a dynamic Seasonal Chef de Rang to join our team at Drift Beach Club in DUBAI Main responsibilities: Prompt, and courteous greeting of customersTake orders and deliver food to customers on the table in an accurate and timely mannerEnsure all guests receive positive and professional service to the highest standards to exceed the customer's expectationsFollow sequence of service standards as per brand guidelinesHave a complete and thorough knowledge of all menu items in order to be able to describe and make suggestive selling to customersEnsure food quality and consistency is delivered at all timesManage the set up and close down of tables within sectionDivide restaurant into sections for each shift and ensure fair allocationsEnsure full closing procedures are carried out consistently and thoroughlyEnsure tables are turned around and ready with minimal delayMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standardsEnsure the cleanliness and refilling of condiment sets and napkin containersCoordinating with cashier to handle accurately order invoices and tipsKeeps all work stations and equipment as clean as possible at all timesAttend all regular departmental briefings and contribute to an open communication within the assigned teamPerforms other duties pertinent to this job as assigned. Ideal candidate: At least 2-3 years' experience as Waiter from a highly fast paced restaurant operation.Excellent customer service and upselling skills.Good communication skills in English and fluent French.Highly interested to work and live in Dubai.
