About the role:

Our mission at Zeffy is to empower nonprofits to change the world.

Our society is generating wealth but also creating inequalities and existential threats such as climate change. Nonprofits are working daily to improve the status quo. We’re breaking the mold to help them.

We started by allowing all nonprofits in North America to raise funds for free (no credit card fees, no platform fees) saving around 5% of their collected donations for their cause.

But we intend to go way beyond that and become a true life partner for these nonprofits, helping throughout their whole journey (creation, fundraising, donor communication, reporting, spending, etc.).

As a Senior Product Manager (reporting to our Head of Product), you will be key in ensuring that our product delivers on this vision.

Create the new product lines that will make Zeffy the perfect lifelong partner for our nonprofits.

Product Management at Zeffy

We have a core set of principles and expectations for any PM at Zeffy:

  1. Your only objective is to drive business outcomes, not ship features.
  2. Autonomy and empowerment: leadership's job is to determine which business metric we want to focus on, your job is to decide what to build to impact these metrics.
  3. We embrace the “fail fast” approach: test quickly, fail, learn, iterate, succeed.
  4. Talk to users AT LEAST once a week.
  5. Deadline and stakeholder management are secondary, what counts is having impact at Zeffy’s speed.
  6. We don’t blame others or find excuses when goals are not achieved. We acknowledge it, learn from it and then get back to work.
  7. We do not expect PMs to be baby-sitting developers, as we do not expect designers to just make pretty UI.

Preferred experience (qualifications)

Must haves:

We expect you to be able to help other PMs improve on these skills.

  • Run quickly and efficiently in-depth user interviews and usability sessions with users.
  • Ability to understand quickly the market and think strategically to explain how we will win.
  • Propose simple, elegant, and relevant solutions with a high attention to the quality of the UX shipped.
  • Ability to derisk big bets quickly thanks to smart and creative ways.
  • Ability to create inspiring product visions for new products and rally everyone around it.
  • Launch successfully brand new products and features when no prior data is available.

Nice to haves:

We expect a basic level on these skills but thanks to the complementarity of the team, you will be able to learn from other PMs in the team and grow on these skills.

  • Create a strong dynamic inside their squad to reach the next level of success.
  • Good communication skills, ability to expose ideas clearly and defend them.
  • Good analytical skills to deep dive into the data when needed.
  • Coach other PMs in the most effective ways.

More on the salary

We are open to considering candidates with higher seniority if they are the right fit, and to discuss a fair pay.

The range:

  • Our ideal seniority level: 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • The corresponding salary range: EUR 65,000 to EUR 85,000 + stock options.
