This role is to create a world leading online experience for the customers that makes it fast and easy to buy all products and services globally whether you are a new or existing customer. Their goal is to create an agile, end to end digital platform which is critical to their success. In addition this increases their share of online sales and lowers the cost of customer acquisition thereby allowing the sales force to work on larger more complex transactions. Ecommerce Director - Responsibilities: Drive the overall digital transformation plan globally Increase conversion rate of online customer interactions into sales. Enhance the productivity and user experience for existing customers, make it easier for them to do business. Responsible for the overall architecture of the Website, Apps and online customer journey. Make it simple and fast to partner with them for all workspace needs for new and existing customers Increase the share of organic and direct customer interaction versus paid search. Effectively manage search budget and lower customer acquisition cost. Ensure a future-proof setup and leading-edge deployment of new technology and tools. Establish performance benchmarks based on well-designed KPIs and set ambitious targets for your team. Partner with relevant 3 rd parties who can offer exciting and innovative products and services to their customers to enhance customer retention. Manage interface to IT, Marketing, Products and other functions so they drive efficiency and work as one team. Recruit and manage the global digital team Ecommerce Director - Skills: Built and managed a comparable digital platform in a leading customer-centric digital business. Ambitious, customer orientated and execution focussed leader. Can demonstrate world-class delivery through achievement of stretch objectives. High drive - demonstrates the desire to grow and take greater responsibility as part of the senior leadership team.
