Level of qualifications required: Graduate degree or equivalentFunction: Temporary scientific engineerLevel of experience: From 3 to 5 yearsAbout the research centre or Inria departmentStaff is present on three campuses in Grenoble, in close collaboration with other research and higher education institutions (Université Grenoble Alpes, CNRS, CEA, INRAE, …), but also with key economic players in the area.Centre Inria de l’Université Grenoble Alpe is active in the fields of high-performance computing, verification and embedded systems, modeling of the environment at multiple levels, and data science and artificial intelligence.ContexteMob-Twin: A Digital Twin for Electromobility Flexibility ForecastOur group has developed eMob-TwinV1 based on findings from the ERC-AdG Scale-FreeBack, resulting in an e-mobility simulation tool driven by digital twin technology. eMob-TwinV1 serves a wide range of purposes including forecasting, analysis, and unlocking EV flexibility. A new version, eMob-TwinV2, will encompass other metropolitan cities in France with auto-calibration functionalities.The proposed work will be part of the PEPR Digitalisation et Décarbonation des Mobilités (MOBIDEC), focusing on optimizing the placement of charging stations and power delivery density per unit area. The scientific research will be carried out by a post-doc, with results integrated by the research Engineer into the eMob-Twin V2 software.Employer: GIPSA-Lab, CNRS.Salary: Based on degree and experience according to CNRS salary scales.AssignmentWe are looking for a team player to fill the position of Software Engineer (SE) to support, organize, design, and develop the proof of concept eMob-TwinV2.
