Designers are expected to actively contribute all the way from defining the problem space, to research, testing and shipping. We are seeking our first Product Design Manager to manage, coach and lead a team of 3 product designers.We are looking for someone with a strong strategic and creative mindset who has extensive experience working in a complex B2B product environment. This role reports to the VP of Product.You’ll report to Pauline Marol, VP of Product.MISSIONSLeadership and Team Management:Manage: Oversee a team of three product designers. As an excellent product designer yourself, you will provide guidance and feedback to your direct reports to amplify their impact.Lead: Build a product design culture and lead the team on a day-to-day basis (weekly syncs, design reviews, etc.).Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages creativity and innovation. Help your team balance speed, quality, and design consistency, always focusing on customer impact and business goals.Design Strategy and Vision:Design Vision: Define and articulate the design vision for our products, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and user feedback (both qualitative and quantitative) to inform design decisions.Product Design and Development:User-Centered Design: Champion user-centered design principles, ensuring that all products are intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing.Design Process: Shape and establish design processes and operations. By driving design best practices, you'll enable greater impact and efficiency across the team. You’ll be responsible for the development of our design system.Collaboration: Identify strategic design opportunities that will help our users create more engaging videos and drive these forward with your product and engineering peers.Design Standards: Establish and enforce design guidelines and standards to maintain consistency across all products.REQUIREMENTSYou have at least 10 years of experience in product design and a strong experience in leading product design teams.You know how to work on complex problems in rich interfaces and create simple, easy, and memorable experiences.You know how to adapt methodologies depending on context. Have an excellent eye for design and are capable of creating both low-fi sketches and pixel-perfect visual designs to assist the team with ideas and creative inputs.You have a collaborative approach.ABOUT YOUYou have experience working closely with other Designers, Engineers and Product Managers.You value feedback and brainstorming ideas.You are comfortable communicating future design directions with senior stakeholders, including founders and inspiring positive action within your team.You speak English fluently, including in public (in the product team we work in French but all company communications are in English).If you want to learn more about usFind more about the product team here.OUR VALUESCreative: We don't do things the same way as others and we like that.
