Job Title: Accounting Staff General Ledger Effective Date: Immediately Department: Accounting Payroll Status: Salaried Non-Exempt Reports To: Accounting Manager Job Summary: Maintain accounting procedures primarily associated with financial reporting and general ledger while providing the backup for other accounting functions as necessary. Primary Job Responsibilities: Monthly financial statements under IFRS standards with eliminations. Monthly financial statement analytics. Monthly report presentation to Officers and H One Quarterly H One reports. Assist in compiling year end audited financial statements under US GAAP standards with eliminations. Company and Consolidated budgets on an as requested basis. Company, and Consolidated long term plans on an as requested basis. Work with Canadian subsidiary on monthly financial statements, reports, budget, long term plans, etc… Department Expense Reports. Coordinate budget and long term plan sales price with Sales Department. Update production plans from forecast issued by customer(s) for budgeting purposes. Assist in compiling financial analytics on an as requested basis. Is aware and accepts the responsibility regarding internal controls and compliance with JSOX. Other Job Responsibilities: Other accounting functions, but not limited to month end, census surveys, and year end activities. Run queries Know how to find details for account transactions. Assist other departments in understanding financial reporting. Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting and or equivalent work experience or training.
