Murex Back Office Accounting Consultant

Company Description We are seeking a highly motivated Murex Accounting Consultant to work in Paris in a client-servicing role to drive one of our client’s Murex projects. Responsibilities - Work hands-on with Murex on accounting configuration and testing to meet business requirements. - Work on accounting for trade and position configuration - Provide liquidation module support- Translating these requirements into appropriate solutions - Update documentation covering functional / technical aspects of Murex platforms and business processes - Assist on the testing approach and design of test cases. - Training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc. Requirements - Minimum of 1-2 years of Murex Accounting/ Finance experience in the capital markets industry - Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably from Financial Engineering, Applied Finance, or Accounting - Knowledge of accounting standards for treasury products - Experience on accounting and liquidation module in configuration or support in Murex 3.1 - Proficient in SQL, MSL, Reporting  - Exposure to complete trade life cycle - Must be able to convey plans, issues and concerns to clients and team members in clear, logical and concise manner - Strong time management skills and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills - Excellent interpersonal skills Skill set Murex, Accounting, SQL, SML, Reporting, Hedge Accounting, Capital Markets, Money Market, Fixed Income #J-18808-Ljbffr
