CENTURI recruits group leaders – Apply now!Organization: Turing Centre for Living Systems (CENTURI)The Turing Centre for Living Systems (CENTURI) is an interdisciplinary project located in Marseille (France). CENTURI aims at developing an integrated interdisciplinary community to decipher the complexity of biological systems through the understanding of how biological function emerges from the organization and dynamics of living systems. The project federates 15 teaching and research institutes in biology, physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering and focuses on Research, Education and Engineering, three missions that hold interdisciplinary as their core principle.Position Overview: CENTURI seeks to attract outstanding computer scientists, physicists, or mathematicians with a theoretical and/or computational biology project. The selected candidates, who are expected to bridge biology and other disciplines, will be affiliated to two institutes and will be offered competitive funding.Application Process: Applicants should send a curriculum vitae with a complete list of publications, a 2-page summary of research achievements and projects in English, and arrange for 2-3 letters of recommendation to be sent to [email protected], before February 28th, 2020. Short-listed candidates will be invited to submit a full proposal by April 22nd, 2020, and for an interview between May 25th and May 27th, 2020.
