Senior Lombard Loan Officer

We are looking for a Senior Lombard Loan specialist based in either Basel or Zurich for one of our Private Banking clients. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Oversee Lombard credits and structured transactions, providing guidance to relationship managers and department heads on risk-based credit analyses aligned with the bank's credit policy. Deliver risk-oriented support and solutions to sales teams, working with private banking and key stakeholders to structure both standard and non-standard credit proposals. Propose and carry out approved credit transactions, ensuring proper documentation and security, while managing periodic credit reviews and limit requests. Assist management in credit risk identification and management, develop new credit products, draft policies, and handle project management tasks. Encourage team integration, promote a strong risk culture, and improve coordination and communication across the bank's national and international networks Key Qualifications / Experience A higher education degree in Banking, Business, or Finance; additional qualifications in Credit are advantageous. Over 10 years of hands-on experience in Lombard credit, credit risk, Lombard structuring, or advisory, ideally within a private banking environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Avaloq is beneficial. Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to apply them effectively and pragmatically. A well-organized self-starter capable of working independently and efficiently.
