Job Position: Construction Supervisor & Site Manager (Industrial Renovations) Location: Anglet and Bayonne, France PTC Group is recruiting an Industrial Construction Supervisor & Site Manager for a client company in the sustainable fish farming sector, focused on opportunities in logistics, distribution, and aquaculture. Mission Ensure that refurbishment of the facilities complies with the company strategy related to the expansion and innovation, acting as supervisor of the entire construction project and aligning all parts with its goal. The company plans to invest an estimated amount of 9M to change the equipment and different installations, aiming to improve the farm. Division: Operations Area or Department: Engineering & Maintenance Need to travel: Only in Anglet and Bayonne, France; no international travels needed Reports to: Execution & Startup Manager, and Project Leader Work regime: 100% in person, 39 hours a week. 80% of the work involves dealing with main contractors in the field; it also includes the purchase, management, and implementation of industrial equipment. Estimated start and duration of project: Early 2025, around 18 months; after this one, the person will be assigned to other projects. Main Objectives Ensure that the tendering process responds to the needs and specifications of the project. Focus the construction with the goals (Schedule, Cost, Scope, and Quality) and specifications defined for each project within the area of responsibility. Work collaboratively with all areas involved in the construction and start-up of the project. Respect the work instructions that apply to the position according to the Quality and Environment System. Tasks Manage the tendering process, evaluate different alternatives, and propose the best one based on project goals (schedule, cost, scope, and quality). Coordinate and manage the construction process, ensuring compliance with the goals (Schedule, Cost, Scope, and Quality) and specifications defined for each project within the area of responsibility. Identify weaknesses or errors in design and/or construction and propose solutions to resolve them and/or improve operations. Coordinate and manage the cold start-up (without fish) and collaborate during the start-up (with fish) with the needs identified during the process. Responsible for reporting along the construction, start-up, and closure phases. Develop technical documentation for grants, including the application, follow-up, supervision during and after the concession, and its closing. Job Profile / Requirements University degree in Civil Works, Building Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Studies in Project Management are a plus. At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial construction supervision. Experience in digital tools. Mandatory knowledge of local civil and industrial regulations and experience on construction sites in France. Multidisciplinary knowledge and experience: industrial, sandy soil movement, building (prefabricated structures, precast concrete), common electrical installations (such as fire protection), hydraulics (water treatment, purifiers, filtration, pumps, piping, sanitation). Mandatory proficiency in Spanish, French, and/or English. Ability to supervise a large project and maintain an overall vision of it. Ability to work with main contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
