Financial Manager - Logistics Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our Amazon Logistics Operations Finance team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing finance-related activities, implementing standardized controllership, reporting, and planning processes for the fixed cost of Delivery Stations across all EU countries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for delivering weekly and monthly financial close, using financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets. You will also identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly and monthly financial close, using financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets.
• Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.
• Work with a variety of data sources, identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying root causes of data issues, escalating discrepancies, and fixing data where possible or partnering to deliver a solution.
• Use active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly.
• Make thoughtful time management decisions independently, prioritizing work, resolving issues, meeting deadlines, and seeking feedback from your manager.
