Furthermore, we are esteemed collaborators within the academic and research community.Following a successful €50 million fundraising in 2023, we are now scaling up our commercial ventures alongside our ongoing research endeavors.Quandela has been chosen to participate in the French Tech 2030 program, which aims to bolster French companies pioneering groundbreaking innovations.ResponsibilitiesYou will participate in the development of Quandela's single-photon sources. The team works with quantum dots in micropillar cavities, and you will be responsible for a part of the fabrication processes and improving the process to optimize the device's performance.Your activities include the development and optimization of complex optical systems for confocal and widefield imaging techniques and instrument communications for automation of the setup to improve the productivity of this process. The work involves high-precision positioning of individual quantum dots (QD), QD's spectroscopy, laser lithography, cryogenic operation, python controls of automation, data storage/analysis, and basic cleanroom experience which will be integrated into Quandela's production line.Your results will also influence the research strategy for next-generation devices.Highly skilled in experimental quantum optics and have a strong interest in the field of quantum emitters.Minimum RequirementsMaster's degree or higher in a relevant topic.3 years’ experience (including PhD) in a research laboratory.Strong fundamentals in quantum optics and optical microscopy techniques.Understanding of solid-state quantum emitters.Software coding using Python, C++, or other common languages.Proven ability to build and run complex optical experiments from the ground up.Team player with the ability to work effectively across multiple projects and departments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently with limited direction.What We OfferA diverse, dynamic, challenging, international team and environment.All means necessary to carry out high-impact projects.Strong potential for fast career development within a rapidly growing company.Employee profit-sharing scheme.Private healthcare scheme.Meal and transport subsidies.
