ROLE OVERVIEW The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of journal entries, month end close process, G/L account reconciliations, financial reporting and external audit support. You will analyze variances and make recommendations to ensure expense controls and process improvement. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare journal entries for full cycle month-end close process and perform G/L account reconciliations Manage key accrual accounts, analyze revenues, and expenses Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules for quarterly reviews and annual audits Analyze general expenses and trends; and make recommendations on appropriate levels and ensure expense controls Audit and review high volume transactions; take appropriate actions to address and adjust incorrect transactions Proactively detect, research, and resolve general expense items including review of invoices to ensure proper account coding Work closely with the business partners and FP&A team to ensure that expenses are properly captured Review and reconcile prepaid accounts and fixed assets Identify and recommend internal control and general expense process improvements, including full automation and design leveraging new finance platforms Project manage the full accounting lifecycle, from initial setup, monitoring, to month-end close Assist in system implementation and testing of new product features Assist in implementation of new accounting guidance Assist in all internal and external audits Assist in all compliance issues ROLE REQUIREMENTS A minimum of five years of experience at a compant with more than $200M in revenue eCommerce, retail or consumer products experience is required Intermediate skills with ERP solutions, ideally NetSuite Strong working knowledge of GAAP Strong analytical skills, including advanced skills with Excel A mix of public and private accounting experience preferred Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment BA|BS in Accounting or Finance English, additional language(s) an advantage Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite BENEFITS Formalized career paths Flat management platform Manager Training Academy Creative Development Internship Program Fashion Nova Cares Program Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical,Dental and Vision Coverage 401k match, with immediate vesting upon eligibility Stocked kitchens with gratis snacks and drinks Weekly catered lunches Summer Fridays at Headquarters Team bonding events and programs Employee discounts Fashion Nova, LLC, and subsidiaries thereof, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are steadfast in our commitment to equal employment opportunities and pledge that these objectives are reflected in all aspects of our daily operations.We will continue to recruit, hire, train, and advance in employment qualified individuals in all job titles without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, status as a protected veteran, criminal history, or status as an individual with a disability; and shall not discriminate against any individual, any such characteristic, nor any other classification protected by local, state and|or federal law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
