Financial controller / FP&A We are looking to recruit a Financial Controller / FP&A who will play a critical role in driving the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes of the company. This position will require a deep understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. The Financial Controller will work closely with the external accounting firm to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: 1.Financial Planning and Forecasting: Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial planning. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to senior management. Support the senior management in the presentation of the financial plans to the shareholder. 2. Monthly closing: Coordinate the external accounting firm in the preparation of the monthly accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statement. Ensure that all accounting records are accurate and up-to-date, and that all financial transactions are properly recorded. Coordinate the preparation of mid-year and year-end closing, as well as audit schedules, and support the external audit process. 3. Monthly reporting: Produce the monthly report for internal leadership and shareholders. Present financial results and key metrics to senior management, highlighting significant variances and underlying causes. 4. Strategic Financial Analysis: Coordinate the company business plan to forecast financial performance in the coming years. Thoroughly understand and master the BP drivers, make strategic recommendations in order to facilitate Exco and shareholder’s decisions. Qualifications: Education: master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, or corporate finance, preferably in the aerospace or technology sectors. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. ?Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis. Advanced knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint. Familiarity with ERP systems. Soft Skills: Strong interest in the space sector and/or cutting-edge technologies environments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-growth environment.
