Operations Manager – Metals

Redstone Commodity Search are working with an International Trading House looking for a Traffic / Trade Finance / Operations Manager to be based in Zug, Switzerland. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Coordinate with forwarders and shipping agents for freight/chartering of vessels, barges, trucks, and railcars. Manage full contract administration, ensuring timely delivery, issuing invoices, payment orders, and preparing B/L instructions and responsible for coordinating a small team of junior-mid level operators. Instruct surveyors for materials’ inspection, survey, and tallying. Handle commercial claims with responsible traders. Declare stocks under insurance policies and for banking purposes. Reports into Management. Key Qualifications / Experience Commercial background with around 8-12 years (or more) experience in a Traffic position (Base Metals, Minerals, or Concentrates). Familiarity with letters of credit and international transport documentation. Fluency in English and any other languages beneficial. Excellent MS Office skills. Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and handle multiple transactions simultaneously. Role Located in Zug, Switzerland.
