Salary Negotiable Salary + accommodation and flights A leading International main contractor operating throughout Europe is actively looking for an Quantity Surveyor to become involved on a major building construction project in The Netherlands.Key Responsibilities will include:Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, drawings;Assist in creation and management of subcontractsUndertake cost analysis for portion of the project worksAssist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studiesAttendance of a contractual representative at meetings to facilitate the correct recording of meetings;Advise on a procurement strategyPrepare and analyze costings for tendersTrack changes in plans or constructions; update budgetsProvide advice on contractual claimsAnalyze outcomes and write detailed progress reportsMeasurement of the works drawings in terms of the contract specifications;Estimate the quantity and costs of materialsPrepare, manage and process the interim payment certificates of work completedAssessment of all applications for payment from subcontractors;Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current useRequirements:Experience working for main contractor as a Quantity Surveyor on large construction projects.The position is based in an excellent location, offering an excellent working and social environment.
