Subcontract Lead Engineer

NES Fircroft are recruiting for a Subcontract Lead Engineer for our major EPC client.Location: ParisDuration: 12-18 monthsStart: September 2024Rate: € negotiable depending on experienceKey Responsibilities:Main Duties:The Subcontractor will perform Placement and Administration of all Subcontracts for the project, based in Paris office.The Subcontractor assumes the following responsibilities:Managing awarded Construction & EPC Subcontracts,Preparing the amendments to the Subcontracts,Receiving and replying to all Subcontractor's letters,Preparing and updating the Monthly Financial Status Report of each Subcontract,Ensuring that the contractual provisions included in Subcontracts are complied with by the construction site team,Preparing and sending out Calls For Bid, negotiating, preparing and awarding local Subcontracts, ensuring the application of Compliance requirements,Following-up and managing Variation requests issued by Subcontractors and evaluating their contractual and financial entitlement according to the procedure set up in the construction guide document,Following-up and managing Variation requests initiated by the client,Formalizing settlement of disputes or disagreements to ensure the client's contractual protection until work completion,Ensuring collection and consolidation of the information required for completion and closure of subcontracts without disputes after work completion.Skills and Qualifications:Experience: 8-20 years’ experience in a similar role particularly within the EPC industry.Field of expertise in Subcontracts Management for Construction (Offshore O&G experience preferred).Knowledge of the software: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Administration / Management Software (e.g. Jeevan).French and English speaking/reading/writing.Must be open to travel to the site of the project. #J-18808-Ljbffr
