We are building a movement, a positive change for the industry and for the planet.Come and join us.From plants with Love.La VieJob DescriptionAs La Vie's CFO & Key COMEX member, you will manage financial operations, provide strategic financial insights, and ensure regulatory compliance to push our growth to new heights. You will lead a great team of 3 people in finance & accounting and report directly to our CEO & co-founder, Nicolas.Strategic financial leadership: Guide La Vie in achieving its short-term and long-term financial goals.Collaboration: Work closely with other COMEX members to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's overall vision.Equity story: Help write the right equity story for La Vie.Financial operations: Initiate & lead fundraising, M&A, and debt funding.Financial health: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.Financial reports: Produce accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.Regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.Cost-effective strategies: Implement strategies and optimize financial resources to maximize profitability.Risk management: Identify and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate measures to mitigate them effectively.Accounts payable and receivable management.Global expansion support.Team management: Manage the finance & accounting team, boosting a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.Preferred ExperienceProven experience as CFO in the FMCG sector.Strong financial analysis and strategic planning skills.A hands-on attitude is unnegotiable.Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership and team management experience.Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.You are fluent in English. French is a plus!Available to work in our Paris office at least 3 days per week and occasionally travel to our production partners.Recruitment ProcessProcess: You will have a first video call with our Head of People Apolline, a second interview with our CEO, Nicolas, and a business case to present to COMEX. We will also ask you to share your references.If all these steps go smoothly, we are happy to show you around in the office and present you to the rest of the team!Impact: We exist to put a happy end to animal-intensive farming.
