They work with senior management to define technical road maps aligned with market directions and communicate across other Business Units to share applicable technology. Our Engineering Managers leverage TE global technology to increase competitive position and increased value to our customers. They identify relevant technology trends and opportunities, develop relationships and partnerships with key customers, industry leaders and core suppliers, define and manage IP strategy, assess talent and implement development plans to assure succession planning and organization capability.Position can be located globally, but with preference in APAC or EMEA due to the location of engineering teams.Position And Responsibilities:Leading the global product line engineering for intelligent sensors and Internet of Things (IoT)Integration of sensors with IoT HW/SWDriving collaborative partnership with all sensor developing engineering teams and third parties for effective co-development of intelligent sensors with existing sensor expertise and Products.Developing and driving innovation and vision for elevating TE sensors portfolio to complex and software-driven products cross-functionallyStrong market-driven execution of product and technology developments towards intelligent sensors and IoTDevelopment, qualification, and release to production of IoT and intelligent sensors comprised of various sensors (vibration, pressure, temperature, humidity) with IoT modulesStrategic creation and implementation of product and technology roadmaps including setting up, coordinating and releasing projectsDeveloping an engaged and professional team of application engineers, system architects, software and algorithm development, hardware development and validation/qualification testingDeveloping partner network to ensure innovation and development at scaleEnabling seamless transfer into production with fast ramp up by working closely with manufacturing engineering and operationsEngage with key customers to deepen relationship and application understandingWhat your background should look like:At least 10 years of extensive professional experience in the field of IoT sensors and Software development (algorithms, embedded, cloud solutions and apps)Experience in:Leading global engineering teamsWireless and wired data transmission modalities (NB-IoT / CAT-M1, Lora, BLE and SPE, IOLink)Cyber security, OTA updates and device managementEnd-to-end solution network architecture and SW integrationLow power system design for battery powered solutionPlatform driven approach for scale and short development cyclesSensor fusion of multiple sensor modalities and AI empowered data analysis at the edgeCustomer focused sensor development for HAZLOC complianceSensor signal processing algorithmsApplication and customer focus to deploy optimally engineered product and feature setAgile, result orientation, strong economic and strategic thinkingMotivational and influencing ability, ability to align stakeholders and work collaboratively across functions and other engineering teamsConfident appearance, structured and forward-looking way of working, high degree of independence and initiative, resilience, flexibilityHigh focus on executionCross-cultural, integrative, collaborative mindsetCompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork SET: Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)Location: TOULOUSE, K, FR, 31027City: TOULOUSEState: KCountry/Region: FRTravel: Less than 10%Requisition ID: 123508 #J-18808-Ljbffr
