If you are an explorer, craving to challenge yourself and make quantum computing come true, come and join us!We are recruiting this specialist as mastering the environment seen by superconducting quantum circuits is crucial to realize high-fidelity operations, especially as the system size scales up.Your work will be at the crossroad of quantum physics of cat qubits, microwave engineering, nanofabrication, cryogenics, and control electronics, giving you the opportunity to collaborate closely with many different teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign and conduct experiments identifying, quantifying, and mitigating the impact of the different environmental noise sources on the performances of cat-qubit quantum processors. The scope of your work will range from the chip level (e.g. TLS, non-thermal photons, out-of-equilibrium quasiparticles, high-energy events) up to the lab level (e.g. electromagnetic noise, vibration noise, control electronics imperfections). You will setup an exhaustive monitoring of the quantum circuit environment to correlate noise sources and cat-qubit performances.
